October 25th through November 2ndSoho

For the past twenty-five years, the team behind The Feast of Signs & Symbols has created artistic immersive experiences that push the boundaries of performance, nightlife, and scenic design. COVID19 SUPPORT – SEEKING TEMP HOSPITAL SPACE + MORE

With the help of Leviathan Capital and REBNY, we are putting out the call to find venues for the State of New York to temporarily lease for Covid-19 patients.

Venue owners! We need you!

Please see the criteria below. If you have an asset that would work or if you know someone who owns such an asset, please let us know! Thank you!

SURGE HOSPITAL SPECS:

  • Bigger is better – larger facilities are easier to staff and supply – prefer a smaller number of very large facilities, even if they don’t match perfectly with the criteria below
  • Utilities (power, water, lighting, etc) and HVAC/temperature control are essential
  • 1 million SF is their ideal size
  • Lease between 4-6 Months
  • 40-80K SF is the minimum worth pursuing (retail or office)
  • Open floorplan
  • Floorplans of 10K SF or larger
  • Multiple floors are better than one giant enclosed space (like an armory), but one big space can work
  • Potential to hook up to a generator (for backup power) is good
  • Nice to haves: ADA access, bathrooms and showers, lighting control

SPANISH SPEAKERS – Stony Brook Hospital on Long Island is currently in dire need of bilingual people who can help translate between medical staff and patients/families. They have a particular need for Spanish speakers. No medical background needed, just the ability to help bridge that communication gap. This would all be done remotely, through Zoom/Skype/Facetime, and no specific hours are necessary. The hospital is looking for a deep bench of volunteers they can call on during those moments when they need this sort of help. Anyone interested should please contact : Roseanna.Ryan@StonyBrookMedicine.edu

Please add additional resources, surveys and more in the comments section.

And if you are missing the party like we are, please head over to our Mood Board page for a virtual trip down memory lane, or if you are a client or venue we work with and want to send us a digital “Thanks!” for past work, please leave us a Google review if you haven’t yet – they’re like gold to us 🙂

Remember! We’re New York tough!
